The True Gospel of Jesus Christ
Christ's Indwelling Life Makes You Righteous and Gives You Eternal Life

Egnatian Way where the Apostle Paul and Silas once walked.

Born from Above Verses: These verses show that, as a believer, God makes you literally righteous in your born again heart. You are righteous because the Righteous One lives in you, joined as one to you in your new spirit (2 Peter 1:4). Besides being righteous, you also possess eternal life because Jesus Christ is the life (1 John 5:11,12).
Note: "God's Spirit," the "Holy Spirit," the "Spirit of Christ" or "Christ" living in you all mean exactly the same thing.

1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (This means that you can no longer sin in your new, inner spirit; only your not-yet-redeemed outer mortal body is still capable of sin.)

Romans 5:17 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. (Your physical body is still dead because of sin because it has not yet been redeemed; your new born again heart is fully and forever righteous because it has already been redeemed.)

Romans 11:16 And if the first piece of dough be holy, the lump is also; and if the root be holy, the branches are too. (You are holy in your new born again spirit because Christ in you is holy. Your physical body and mortal mind are not yet holy; your body awaits a future redemption - Romans 8:23b.)

1 Corinthians 3:16-17b Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? [17] ... for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.

Ephesians 4:24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. (Notice this verse says "has been" created in righteousness, not "will be.")

Philippians 1:11 having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ for the dead,

2 Peter 1:4 For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, in order that by them you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.

1 John 1:2 and the life was manifestedand we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal lifewhich was with the Father and was manifested to us -

1 John 5:11 And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

1 John 5:12 He who has the Son has the life; He who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.

1 John 5: 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
