The True Gospel of Jesus Christ
Additional Gospel of Jesus Christ Bible Verses

These additional verses declare the good news of Jesus Christ: everyone's sins were forgiven on the Cross of Christ; and, God will give a new heart filled with His own righteous and eternal life to all who believe.

[1] Already Forgiven: All sins of all people for all time were forgiven and forgotten on the Cross of Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago. Only unbelief, the rejection of Christ as Savior, was not forgiven on the Cross. It is an eternal sin because unbelief is rejecting the eternal life that is found only in Jesus Christ since He, Himself, is Eternal Life (1 John 1:2; 5:11).

Matthew 26:28; Acts 13:38; Romans 5:6; Romans 5:8; Romans 5:18; 2 Corinthians 5:14,15; Galatians 1:4; Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:13,14; Colossians 2:13; Hebrews 2:17; Hebrews 7:27; Hebrews 9:12; Hebrews 9:22; Hebrews 9:28; Hebrews 10:1,2,3,4; Hebrews 10:17; 1 Peter 2:24a; 1 Peter 3:18; 1 John 1:7; 1 John 2:12; 1 John 3:5; Revelation 1:5

[2] Cleansed with New Heart through Faith: Upon faith in Christ as Savior, God removes your old sinful spirit and replaces it with a brand new, clean heart. This is where faith is necessary. A new heart filled with God's life is what actually saves you.

John 3:3; John 3:7; Acts 11:9; Romans 6:3,4; Romans 6:11; Galatians 5:24; Ephesians 5:26; Titus 2:14; Titus 3:5; Hebrews 10:2; 1 Peter 2:24a; 1 Peter 4:1; 1 John 1:9b

[3] Born from Above: The Holy Spirit comes to live in your new, clean spirit (heart) making you literally righteous and giving you eternal life by His indwelling presence.

John 3:3; John 3:5,6,7; Romans 3:24; Romans 4:25; Romans 5:9,10; Romans 5:19; Romans 6:18; Romans 8:1; Romans 8:14; Romans 8:19; 1 Corinthians 1:8; 1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 2 Corinthians 6:14; Ephesians 1:4; Ephesians 5:8, 9; Ephesians 5:27; Philippians 1:11; Philippians 3:9; Colossians 1:13; Colossians 1:22; Colossians 3:12a; Hebrews 3:1; Hebrews 10:14; 1 Peter 1:23; 1 Peter 2:5; 1 John 3:1; 1 John 3:6,7,8,9

[4] Union with Christ: you are "in Christ" as a member of the Body of Christ, and Christ is in you literally joined inseparably as one with you in your born again spirit. As a believer, Jesus Christ is your life and your only power to live a righteous life. Jesus does His good works through you just as the Father did His miracles and works through Jesus.

[5] Living by Faith: You still live in a not-yet-redeemed mortal “tent” that cannot live righteously by its own human strength. This is why you follow Christ in faith. Faith is actively following the life that Jesus Christ is living in you as He does His good works through you.
