The True Gospel of Jesus Christ
Cleansed with a New Heart

Model of Herod's Temple, a vast expansion of the 2nd Temple.

Receiving New Heart through Faith: These verses show that, upon trusting Christ as Savior, God cleanses you by removing your old sinful nature and replacing it with a brand new heart. You are now completely free from sin in your born again heart (Romans 6:18). This is what allows Christ to join eternally as one to you in your inner spirit. But, your outer mortal body is still dead because of sin (Romans 8:10a); it awaits a future redemption (Romans 8:23b).

Ezekiel 11:19 And I shall give them one heart, and shall put a new spirit within them. And I shall take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, (This is the great promise of the New Covenant as given by the Prophet Ezekiel.)

Ezekiel 36:25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

Ezekiel 36:26 Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Acts 15:9 and He made no distinction between us and them (Jew and Gentile), cleansing their hearts by faith.

Romans 6:6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, that our body of sin (old sinful nature) might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.

Romans 6:7 for he who has died is freed from sin. (You are completely free from sin in your new, born again spirit. Your new heart is fully righteous and can never sin because Jesus Christ, now joined as one with you, can never sin. This is explained in 1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.)

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Romans 6:18 and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

Romans 6:22 But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.

1 Corinthians 6:11 And such (the unrighteous) were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
